Egoli Jumpstart terms and
conditions
- Egoli Jumpstart package can only
booked/purchased through approved agents.
- All agents have to open a trade
account with Egoli Group UK in order to sell the Jumpstart package.
- A Jumpstart package will only be
deemed booked once payment has been made to the agent.
- The agent can only sell the Jumpstart
package at the suggested retail price as agreed from time to time.
- The Jumpstart package does not
include a job nor is it in any way an offer of employment. If this type of
service is required, please refer to our optional job guarantee service. The
registration with a recruitment agency will be with Egoli Recruitment in
London only. Information on various other agencies will be given to the client
as part of the Jumpstart orientation information. It will be the client’s own
responsibility to register with these agencies.
- The Jumpstart package does not
include any accommodation arrangements or bookings nor does its price include
any rent or deposit payments. If this type of service is required, please
refer to our optional accommodation booking service.
- It is the client’s responsibility to
register at the Egoli office at 286 High Rd, Leyton, London, E10 5PW to redeem
the Jumpstart service.
- All clients need to have a valid
passport as well as the right to work in the UK to qualify for the Jumpstart
service
- If a client is not living in Egoli
accommodation, he/she needs to provide Egoli with a valid proof of UK address.

- Jumpstart services cannot be offered
to anyone with a criminal record in any country.
- The services included in this package
are not for sale or valued separately. The charge for this package is an
administration charge for setting up and co-ordinating the delivery of these
services. The Jumpstart package can only be bought as a complete package and
not as separate services.
- The Jumpstart package cannot be
cancelled after the client has arrived in the UK. It can only be cancelled up
to one day before departure for the UK.
- The London orientation meetings will
be done at set times on weekdays. Time slots will be given to the client on
contacting the Egoli office on arrival in the UK.
What is
included in the Jumpstart package?
- UK cell phone starter pack (pay as
you go) on the day of arrival in the UK so that
you can get connected immediately
- UK cell phone contract
- fast tracked application. It is notoriously difficult for
new arrivals in the UK to arrange a cell phone contract. Egoli has made
special arrangements with our service provider that allows us to open cell
phone contracts for our clients as soon as their bank accounts are opened. As
an example, on a 12 month contract you receive 500 free cross-network, anytime
minutes and 100 text messages for only £30 per month as well as a free phone!
- UK bank account
– this is one of the most difficult things to set-up when you first arrive in
the UK. Egoli clients get special treatment at Lloyds TSB.
- International telephone card
– with £5.00 pre-loaded airtime. You will need this to make cheap phone calls
to S.A. or any other country. You can use it from any landline or cell phone
(with free contract minutes) and your call gets directed through a switch that
will charge the call to your pre-paid card and not the phone you are calling
from. For £5.00 you can call a S.A. landline for up to 60 min
- London Orientation
– This is an information session where we give you the basic knowledge and
need-to-know information that you only learn by experience. We also cover all
the basics such as health care and taxes. You also get a printed version of
the orientation information with lists of all the important and useful numbers
and websites, so you can refer to it whenever necessary.
- Free welcome gift
– this will vary from time to time. It can be anything from a lunch voucher to
free drink at a pub.
