Terms and conditions of
Accommodation booking:
- A holding deposit of R1,000.00 (ZAR)
must be paid for the accommodation booking to the agent in S.A.
- The holding deposit will be refunded
in S.A. immediately after the client pays his deposit for accommodation on
arrival in the UK. The agent and the person that paid the holding deposit will
be notified by e-mail and/or sms message as soon as the deposit and rent is
paid in the UK. The agent will be responsible for the immediate refund of the
R1,000.00 holding deposit.
- Accommodation will be pre-booked for
the client who will be moved into a house on arrival in the UK
- Egoli will allocate an address for
the client when an accommodation booking is made
- If the address is confirmed before
arrival in the UK this might be different to the address where the person will
move into.
- Egoli might put the client in
temporary accommodation for a short period before moving into permanent
accommodation.
- All Egoli accommodation is in shared
houses where the house and/or bedroom will be shared with other Egoli clients.
- Egoli will adhere to requests of
clients that want to move to other Egoli properties and this will be done as
time and availability allow.
- Rent for accommodation is payable
weekly in advance and the week runs from Monday through Sunday.
- If a client moves in mid-week a full
week’s rent must be paid. The rent for the following week will be payable pro
rata through to the following Sunday.
- A deposit is payable before moving
into the house and is equal to the total amount of 2 (two) weeks rent.
- A key deposit of £5.00 will be
payable before a key for the house is given. This will be refunded when the
client moves out and hands back the key in good order.
- The minimum stay is 3 (three) weeks
from move in date and thereafter 2 (two) weeks notice is required to move out.
Notice
- A notice period of 2 (two) weeks is
required when a client wants to move out.
- Rent must be paid in full up to the
move out date.
- The deposit cannot be utilised for
the last two week’s rent payment.
- After inspection of the room and
collection of the house and room keys Egoli will refund the deposit in any way
the client prefers.
Refunds
- Egoli will not refund a deposit if a
client moves out on short notice.
- A client may replace himself with
another person if he wants to leave the house on short notice. As soon as the
new client pays the deposit and rent for the room, the original client will be
refunded his deposit.
