ECS was formerly known as Starsky contractors LTD. The business was formed by George Vorster in 2001 after working in the Industry and identifying a shortage of good quality workmanship and trained staff.

He found that because furniture fitting / installation is not a recognised trade there was no proper training available and the only way to get good fitters was through experience. George also found that there was a need in the industry for a good quality English speaking staff supply.

Starsky joined the Egoli Group in 2004 combining the industry expertise from Starsky with the resources and infra structure that existed in the Group. This proved to be a winning combination, and our business has grown rapidly since the early days.
